The 5 hour live stream which featured many artists generated over 8 million views and not only promoted the Tourism destination of Goa but also raised over INR 45 lakhs which was handed over to the Chief Minister’s Covid Relief Fund-Goa towards COVID-19 relief & welfare across the State of Goa. This was Percept’s way of paying back and thanking the beautiful destination and people of Goa for all their love and support they had given over 14 years into making Sunburn the global iconic success.
The inaugural edition of EVENTFAQS Mettle Awards was announced in early 2021 to honour exemplary achievements by those in Events and Experiential marketing in 2020, the first year of the Covid19-induced lockdown. The Mettle Awards ceremony, which was repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic, stood cancelled and organisers decided to refrain from announcing winners, deeming such a celebration inappropriate in the current times.
